We look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office. During this time, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic treatment. We understand that each patient’s orthodontic treatment is different, and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve. Your first orthodontic visit will consist of an examination and discussion of potential treatment options.

At this visit, one of three outcomes will be determined:

  • Treatment is needed now.
  • Treatment is not needed at all.
  • Treatment will be needed but the timing is such that it should be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors are monitored and reconciled.
If Dr. Behnan feels treatment should begin now, two appointments will be scheduled. The first will consist of taking treatment records (diagnostic x-rays, models and photographs). The second will be a follow-up consultation with Dr. Behnan to discuss treatment recommendations and financial arrangements.

For your first visit, please take time to complete the patient information form that was sent to you. By completing this form prior to your arrival, we can begin your first visit without delay. Also be aware of any insurance coverage you might have. If you have orthodontic insurance, please bring the needed information so that we may assist you in getting your insurance benefits.
