First Time Visit Information

All of us at Behnan Orthodontics look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office. During your first visit, we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about what your orthodontic treatment may be. Orthodontic treatment is different for each patient, and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve. Your first orthodontic visit in our office, will consist of an examination and discussion of potential treatment options.

At this visit, one of three outcomes will be determined:

1. Treatment is needed now (we should proceed right away).
2. Treatment is not needed at all.
3. Treatment will be needed but the timing is such that delaying it until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors are monitored and reconciled.

If our doctors feels treatment should begin now, our office will assist you with scheduling two appointments. The first appointment consists of taking treatment records (photographs, diagnostic x-rays, and models). The second appointment in our office will be a follow-up consultation with our doctors to discuss your individual treatment recommendations and the financial arrangements for your treatment.

Before your first visit to our office, please take time to complete our patient information form that was sent to you by mail. Completing this form prior to your arrival will help us to expedite your first visit without any added delays to your time. In advance of your arrival, we also suggest being aware of any insurance coverage you might have for orthodontic coverage's. If you have orthodontic insurance, please gather that information and bring it with you to your visit so that we may assist you in getting your insurance benefits.
